As part of the ramp up to Genghis Con, the Community Arts Center at The Pivot Center is putting on three comics workshops in November featuring some of our awesome exhibitors!

On 11/5 is Miguel Hernandez on the art of creating backgrounds- if you are a cartoonist or aspiring cartoonist- TAKE THIS CLASS! You will learn a lot!

Next up on 11/12 is John G. who will be showing you how to tell a one-page story, from beginning to middle to end, using the recipe for your favorite snack as a narrative construct. There will be a nacho bar so we can snack while brainstorming your pages.

Then on 11/19 is Justin Michael Will’s version of Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood trip through the Magical Land of Making Art with Various Art Supplies You've Always Wanted to Try But Were Too Afraid to Ask. Doodle with abandon on a Sunday afternoon!
